        In order to help users better understand meshfree method of LS-DYNA, Shanghai Fangkun will hold a training course about “Application of meshfree method in processing, manufacturing and material failure analysis” from 28th to 29th March.

About Speaker

Youcai Wu, Ph.D. -Technologist from LSTC

Dr. Wu received his PhD. in structural mechanics in University of California-Los Angeles in 2005. He has engaged in development of finite element analysis, concrete constitutive model and meshfree method in building structure from 2006 to 2015. In 2015 Dr. Wu joined LSTC as senior engineer and leader of integrated structure analysis group to develop advanced FEA, meshfree method and its application in processing, manufacturing and material failure analysis.


This is a 2-day intermediate meshfree method training course which will introduce three meshfree methods, Element Free Galerkin, Smoothed Particle Galerkin, Peridynamics and their application in processing, manufacturing and material failure analysis. The course content includes fundamental theory, key word description and application. The course also provides relevant examples to help better applying these methods.

Course expense: RMB 4,000 per person (include handouts, training, certificate, working lunch)

Hotel expense is exclusive.
